Adding consecutive numbers

Dear friends we come back with the new trick of math by which you can save your time in the exam, because we have no such time to do this job by standard method.

Rule:- Add the smallest number in the group to the largest number in the group, multiply the result by the amount of the numbers in the group and divide the resulting product by 2
For example: - Suppose we want to find the sum of all numbers from 33 to 41
Step 1:- Add the smallest number to the biggest number in the group
That is 33+41 = 74
Step 2:- Multiply the result by the amount fo the numbers in the group
There are 9 numbers in the group
So     74*9 = 666                         (keep visiting for the shortcut)
Step 3:- divide the resulting product by 2
So the answer will be
666/2 = 333
                                                                                                                                   Thank you for visiting
